1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be old enough to form a binding agreement and to consent to the processing of your data under your local laws. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
2. Acceptable use
When using Aularis, you agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, impersonate, or harm other participants in sessions, chat, or messages.
- Upload or share content that is illegal, infringing, abusive, or otherwise inappropriate for an educational setting.
- Disrupt sessions, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or interfere with the platform’s security or infrastructure.
- Record, capture, or redistribute other participants’ audio, video, or likeness without their consent.
- Use automated means to access the platform in a way that places an unreasonable load on it.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you create or upload (such as messages, slides, and profile media). You grant Aularis a limited licence to host, display, and process that content solely to operate and provide the platform's features to you and the participants you share it with. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you upload.
4. Sessions and conduct
Instructors who host sessions are responsible for the conduct of those sessions, including any optional features they enable (for example, focus detection). All participants are expected to behave respectfully. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Intellectual property
The Aularis platform, including its software, design, branding, and 3D assets, is owned by its creators and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to copy, modify, or distribute the platform except as expressly permitted.
6. Third-party services
Aularis integrates third-party services (for example, Google Sign-In, cloud storage, real-time media, and AI processing). Your use of those features may also be subject to the relevant provider's terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
7. Disclaimers
Aularis is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Aularis was developed as a graduation project and may change, be unavailable, or be discontinued.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aularis and its creators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or content, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the platform.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Aularis and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to accounts that violate these Terms or that create risk for the platform or its users.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of Aularis after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
